Beyond nursery rhymes! Crescendo Babies provide singing, movement and instrument playing music workshops for babies AND their parents. These sessions are tailored to the group, adapted to each developmental stage and run by a registered music therapist. Musically, the focus is on what you love and want to share with your baby and the group.

Workshops include activities such as:

• Singing songs you love and learning new ones

• Playing instruments. Well stocked with plenty of different exciting instruments for you and your little one to get hands on, play and explore

• Simple songwriting. Creating music for your baby by turning your own favourite songs into baby-friendly versions 

• Engaging with music interactively, from African drumming to synth pop! Introducing your baby to different rhythms, melodies and cultures

• Moving our bodies: moving together, to introduce dance and body expression to your baby

• Relaxation with music, as an introduction to music appreciation and meditation

• Musical storytelling stimulating imagination, listening and language skills

• ...and much more!

Workshops are limited in numbers  to keep them intimate, sociable and Covid-19 safe. This also allows for the sessions to be tailored to each group.
